Hultsfred was built during WWII as an Air Force reserve base. After that it was used as a regional airport. Today, it is a club field - a very large one! - with a couple of small hangars. The old system of taxiways is retained, but probably not in use.

Hultsfred was built during WWII as an air force reserve base. After that it was used as a regional airport. Today, it is a club field - a large one! - with a couple of small hangars. The old system of taxiways is preserved but not in use. There is a kind of emergency runway southeast of the field. You can try landing there, but it is small and narrow!
