    A former airbase, still closed to the public, although a main public road today runs right across the runway! Very prominent from the air.

    Closed airbase, but the asphalt runways and taxiway system are very prominent when you come upon them passing over, and it is still out of bounds for civilians. Although a main public road nowadays passes right over the main runway and taxiway system.
