This is an accurate depiction of CYOQ airport using default library content. It is based on the most recent WEDbot version 50824. Runway Placement: The threshold of RWY 09 is located at 44.228211, -78.376150, consistent with the NAVIGRAPH database and WEDbot position. Since the threshold of RWY 27 is displaced by 1,651 ft, the database position is not accurate. Accordingly, the threshold position for RWY 27 was derived from Google Maps and verified with Wed-O-Maker. Given the lack of data for RWY 13/31, its position was derived from a Google Maps overlay. Runway Markings: The markings on RWY 27 are for a temporarily displaced threshold. Research has indicated that this will remain as permanent given that the east extension to 09/27, is load bearing limited and will accept landings of large aircraft only beyond the displaced threshold. Accordingly, arrows and a displaced threshold bar have been added consistent with the actual airport. PAPI RWY 27: Two PAPIs are in operation on RWY 27. The for the touchdown zone at the non-displaced threshold and is used by light GA aircraft. The second is at the touchdown zone for the displaced threshold intended for larger and heavier aircraft which cannot land on the first two thousand feet of the physical runway surface. Taxiway Complex: The taxiways have been derived from the 2017 Google Maps overlay and should be accurate to sometime early in the year. Buildings and Other Objects: All other objects have been placed to give a plausible depiction of the airport. It is largely based upon a detailed scenery package being developed by the author.
