      Roberto Marinho Airport (SBJR), also known as Jacarepagua field, started operations in 1971 as a support field for Afonsos AFB (SBAF). Today, it's a civilian airport, most frequently used by offshore rig air taxi ops, banner tows, traffic monitoring ops and flight schools, such as Aeroclube do Brasil. Jacarepagua field can handle up to 400k people per year, as well as 50 aircraft simultaneously.
