- 86601 – Planebill 09/14/2021Thank you for submitting 86593 Terrain Polygon removed at 3.27am (our time) on 14 September 21 - while at 3.23am (our time) on 14 September I received a email informing me that - "Your scenery submission for the airport YMDN, submitted Tue Aug 31 2021 08:01:02 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) could not be approved. This means the moderator found an issue with the scenery pack, and the scenery is therefore not eligible for inclusion in a future version of X-Plane. The reason for this can be viewed by clicking the 'See Comments' button on the submission's scenery page. Moderator Julian said: One or more terrain polygons has been placed outside the airport boundary". No chance for me to correct the problem, why not tell me I'm just wasting my time doing this. - 86286 – Planebill 08/31/2021I have removed the offending tree incursion on the "default road network" although the trees are included in the ESRI Imagery supplied and used by me in WED. That road was the origional entrance to the Merredin airport removed in 1985 when a second runway 17/35 was added for the Chinese flying school. The school has closed now and is trying to sell the airport. But one must comply with the default even if it is redundant.See comments

- 83643 – Planebill 03/30/2021YMDN Merredin airport I lived in Merredin for 60 years and spent some time at the airport I knew the owner of the China Southern flying school Mr Berard Fernandezs I also knew many of the flight instructors stationed there it was a very sucessful enterprize with a through put of 150 trainee pilots a year for over 30 years the airport operated for 18 hours a day with light aircraft and corperate jet aircraft. Now it is deserted except for the flying Doctor and Air Ambulance service and a few local plane owners.See comments
- 82946 – Planebill 02/28/2021YMDN Merredin airport has untill recently been opperated by China Southern Airlines to train Pilots for the 30 to 35 years. Recently because of covid 19 border restrictions the training school has been forced to close and is in voluntary liquidation. The airport was operated as a proxy international airport to comply with training standards. China Southern paid a $1 peppercorn lease for the use of the airport and spent some millions of dollars upgrading.See comments
