      Ljungbyhed is the classic military trainer base, and still is. However, today civil pilot training has been added to the former air base. The two smaller north-eastern runways 12/30 are closed, but can still be used in X-plane for STOL exercise and precision landings. In addition, there is a club area south of rwys 11/29 with a grass field. Populate with gliders!
