      Welcome to Winter Haven, Gilbert Field. The airport serves general avation at it's best with over 80.000 operations per year. It is also a popular destination for those wanting to attend Sun 'N Fun which takes place just west at KLAL. Completely re-worked for X-Plane 12 to include the most recent taxiway re-construction. Accurate ramp starts and signs. GIF is also one of many to have a compass rose placed by the Ninety-Nines, an international female pilot association. I've modified the airport boundary to include the entire airport fence but have refined it of assets belonging to Jack Brown's sea plane base, F57, another X-Plane airport in the same proximity. A new version of F57 will be uploaded shortly to compliment this new version of KGIF. The airport is uncontrolled and ground vehicles are on the move. Blue skies and tail winds!
