    Hi Henri,
Looks like this was updated to the correct numbers (04L/R and 22L/R) on Mar 21.

Dflement reported issue XSG-7577: EBLG ILS frequency locks wr... in reference to scenery pack 59549 on May 4, 2019 5:52 PM

Hello,
In EBLG, 2 RWY's have the same frequency. RWY22L and R both operate on 109.35 MHz. In real life, RWY22L (identifier ILG) is active in 95% of the cases. However, when you select the frequency XP does lock it on RWY22R (identifier IBI). In real life the LOC beam is switched on/off in case of which RWY is active, but in XP this selection is not possible so pilots are always locked on the wrong RWY.

Can this frequency be changed to lock on RWY22L, identifier ILG iso the other one?

I attached a screenshot from my navigation equipment, so you can see there is a wrong identifier

Special thanks in advance!

This is a known problem at EBLG, and there is not a simple fix in the sim, other than to remove the data for ILS 22R.

Just like in real life, you must turn off the ILS for the runway that is not active.

04L/22R is a runway that doubles as a taxiway: "Available as secondary rwy for operational needs in VMC and CAT I, but also available as twy B, double lighting according to the use."

Of course, in real life only one ILS can ever be active. For realistic operations you need to fail one ILS in the sim - which is not unlike in real life, where one has to be definitely turned off.
I'd prefer to leave both in the database, to enable people to turn off one ILS by failing it, rather than taking that decision away from them by not including one ILS in the first place.

So, go to the failure settings, then to navaids, then turn off the ILS components for the runway that is not in use - that's what the tower does in real life at this airport.

ils 22 L and R same frequency simultaniously not suppose to be like this, This is something you can do?

Yes, that is true. If you look at the official Belgian AIP you’ll see that both runways use the same frequency.

The way it works in real life is that only one is ever turned on. The tower decides on the active runway and then turns one of the ILSs on. That way you get the ILS to the runway the tower wants you on.

Unfortunately, there's no way to simulate this kind of “part-time” use of ILS frequencies in XPlane other than for opposite runways.

Liege is the only airport in the world that uses that kind of frequency double-assignment as far as I know.

This is my first contribution. I changed the Apron Layout of the south east apron and expanded the northern Apron. I adjusted many Taxi lines, Street lines and hope it is good enough for Gateway. someone who has more talent with the Buildings should maybe enhance it in the future
