Hi Jennifer,
the airfield EDVP (Peine-Eddesse), Germany is closed since 2010. In this year 2017, the ICAO Code EDVP goes to "Peine-Glindbruchkippe". I´d uploaded it to the scenery gateway ID 53519, it´s precisely placed (geo referenced). Following Scenery-ID´s can be fully deleted from your xplane-database: 51863, 51862, 14129,198. EDVP is now represented only in ID 53519. The attached map section comes from a glider-chart.
I am a scenery artist and want to share my scenery of this new EDVP airfield with custom 3D-Objects in the scenery gateway for free. It is possible?
Hi Chris,
We do not accept airports that use custom objects or third party objects. Gateway airports become part of default X-Plane and can only rely on default resources.
Do you have any official documents showing the EDVP code was reassigned? The information I found online still links EDVP to PEINE-EDDESSE and maps still show the runway is visible.
Hi Jennifer,
thanks for the approvement, it´s all correct now - really.
The online informations are old. The ICAO reallocation from EDVP to Peine-Glindbruchkippe take place at 2016. Peine-Eddesse is definitive closed and becomes a lost place. I had spoken to the owner of Peine-Eddesse about this circumstances a few weeks ago, because this airfield was a part of my scenery project. I am in close contact with the management of the glider club from Peine-Glindbruchkippe, too.
I found only one up to date online link in matters of the new EDVP Peine-Glindbruchkippe
I hope this is helpful for you to verify the data i had uploaded.
Best regards,
Chris

Chris is right. The old EDVP Peine-Eddesse was closed in 2010 sadly and will remain closed forever at it seems. I remember the date so precisely because I was doing my PPL that year.
It is no longer shown in the EASA Maps or airfield lisings since then.
I was born in Peine and lived there for 19 years, my family is still around there.
The not designation EDVP went to the former glider only airstrip Peine-Glindbruchkippe, which is a glider field there since I was a little boy back in the 60's. It has grown considerably over the past years and holds the EDVP designation since 2016 as Crhis mentioned above.
