I bet this is due to using a different from default mesh - those often have trees and other things in areas that are barren in the default mesh - so the artist working on the airport does not see the problem (because he only checks against default XPlane).
I will take a look at KLAL later on (and add the missing exclusion zones - but it will take a while until the next XPlane update to incorporate new airports - until this shows up in Xplane.
Another possibility is that the extra mesh was installed wrong - “on top” of the default airports - that way the exclusion zones in the airport can not work.

The current control tower appears to me located 200-300 yards to far down runway 9

There are trees on the Amazon ramp by runway 9. They are in the ramp starts and inside the warehouses.

There was indeed an exclusion zone missing for the new ramp - I added it and uploaded the fixed airport.
As of September 2021, Runway 9/27 was re-designated as 10/28, the scenery has yet to be updated to reflect this change, and remains 9/27.
