I found the main terminal and some cargo buildings placed on non-flattened terrain and thus floating on the downhill side. Broke up the large facades into smaller ones and adjusted the origins so the building now (mostly) adjust to the terrain. Unless a scenery recut flattens this airport properly thats as good as it gets.
There is so much wrong with this airport 2 'K' taxiways are missing and the existing K ones renamed. PAPI lights missing etc, etc. A lot of the airport central area has been modernised/ changed with taxiways renamed and added. As it is under major re-construction still, it is a little pointless at this moment doing a full rework which this airport really needs.
Subsequent work on this airport was made since then. As most airports it can be improved further, but this is not really grounds for a bug report. Issue can be closed.
This is correct - I would have added the taxiways really quick, but the whole airport needs a taxiway revision as it globally employs a now outlawed method of creating “runway shoulders” with taxiways. This is not allowed anymore, because the taxiways will suppress the runway edge lighting (they change from “stalks” to “flush” lights).
I took a day and updated all of the taxiways, and signs, and many other things. However, I didn't fix the taxiway shoulders. It is true, the taxiways are a mess with this airport, but at least it is a start.
I might try and redo the taxiways the proper way, but it is a very big job.
I just realized that all of the runway shoulder's have been created using taxiways. I will go ahead and try and redo that. It is quite a big job, but I will try and make it happen.
Hmm, not sure why you filed a scenery removal request for this comment. I applaud you taking on the job of fixing the runway shoulders, as I mentioned in the other bug report about the taxiway exits missing: Just move the edges of that taxiway “in” until they are underneath the runway.
Ahh.. I just didn't want Julian to use this version as I uploaded a newer version with the corrected runway shoulders. Does that normally mean that I don't need to submit a removal request for this version?
Scenery removal requests are intended for obsolete and (physically) no longer existing airports or heliports, only.
Your previous scenery package will simply get "discarded" with comment "artist has submitted a newer version".
I spent about 20 hours on updating this airport. There were many issues with the earlier versions. I am working to try and get this version approved, but if I can't get it over the finish line, I would appreciate if the next artist takes my version and then gets it done. Thanks.
Not easy to spot something, I believe there is nothing to be possible to act on via WED.

For all the new updated scenery packs does x-plane automatically install the updated versions onto the scenery pack? Do we have to manually download the updated scenery again into the Custom Scenery folder?

The content of the taxi direction sign at north side of the intersection of Y and E should be “Y|←E→” instead of “Y|←F→”. The taxi direction sign at north side of the intersection of Z and E has the same issue.
This scenery do have all 3 runways, even the closed 07C/25C. Please comfirm you have installed the correct scenery pack correctly. You can find the scenery pack ID by view the apt.dat file in the folder or import the apt.dat to WED. Please check whether the ID is 96123.
Hello. The scenery is great. I found a small glitch in XP 12.05 default scenary (no orthophoto or terrain mesh). On taxiways F and E forest blocks the way. A simple exclusion zone should be enough to correct the bug. Thanks for your work.
While testing out the scenary for 11.55, i get an error message saying "There was a problem loading the scenary package". Then the airport just doesnt have the new runway "25L".
The main terminal, as well as other buildings and vehicles are floating in the air.
See screen shots.

For now, unchecking "runway follows terrain contours" will level the ground so the buildings don't float.

RWY 07R/25L seems to be missing two high speed exits named K3 and K5 according to the latest Navigraph charts.
Not sure if I can attach a screenshot of the chart re copyright. If more is needed, please let me know.

I redid many of the taxiways, new version should be good now.
Jan Vogel September 18, 2021 6:34 AM
Should be fixed with latest version in 11.55

Ahh.. thank you XPFlyer! That was my mistake.. so I have done that twice now.. Oops.. Thanks very much for clarifying.
Hi, I forgot to fix the taxiways as runway shoulders issue in this version. Please delete this version and use 84301. Thanks!
Stephen Coleman May 1, 2021 9:57 PM
Ahh.. I think I should should have listed this as a bug report, not a removal request. Sorry.... Anyway, please use version 84301

I think it's because the CIFP data in gateway hasn't updated yet so no one can revise the runway's code otherwise there will be validation error.
Jan Vogel March 11, 2023 7:49 PM

re: Cargo aircraft parking at gate W46R
Ignore this. It appears to be an issue with the AI aircraft file(s), not the scenery.
Looking good so far. Thanks :)
Hong Kong just opened a new runway. Would you please kindly add 25R/07L? Thank you!
Large UPS truck parked in ground vehicle pathway near gate W50. Vehicle never moves.
THERE HAVE NO RWY07L/25R CIPF DATA, I cannot update the scenery.
Jan Vogel July 19, 2022 6:20 AM
You will have to wait until new CIFP data is implemented…probably with XPlane 12.
954964 July 20, 2022 9:38 AM
OKAY, thanks
jayng9663 September 13, 2022 5:27 AM
Now have RWY07L/25R in CIPF DATA, Would you add 25R/07L "w"
954964 May 13, 2023 4:40 AM
I don't quite get it, what is "W"?
Jan Vogel April 22, 2024 6:18 AM
Fixed by subsequent submissions.
07L/25R texture is bugged and slightly floating in the air (incl. taxiways leading to 07L/25R) main scenery isn't affected.
From Runway 07L Threshold up to Taxiway C5, the textures are slightly floating in the air

all scenery updates since the past ~2 years are only compatible with XP12.
XP11 scenery is frozen and no longer updated
KikoYamaneko September 3, 2024 11:14 AM
That sucks.
KikoYamaneko September 3, 2024 11:14 AM
Should've downloaded this scenery before XP12
A4, A9, A10, A11, A12 have wrongs namings.
In addition, A11 and A12 are misplaced.
Downloaded the scenery but it had no terminal buildings or any taxiway signs.
