Not sure where the WAWT comes from, but Navigraph and ID AIP show this as being WAFT. To confirm, that refers to the airport with coordinates 03 02 34S 119 49 17E

WAWT comes from available data in 2018 and which still remains. The best thing is to contact author when he is active, and ask him to fix the details :-) I fixed it and uploaded it :-)

I'm genuinely curious what data refers to the airport as WAWT, because I checked the AIP: the aerodrome data page is dated 27 OCT 16 (AMDT 20), which lists the code as WAFT, and I can find no reference to any WAWT anywhere in the AIP. You can check against the AIP yourself via the official website at https://aimindonesia.dephub.go.id/index.php

wikipedia is a commun updated source, which refers to WAWT OpenAIP is another one GCMAPPER for uncovered area did this job too. I designed many airports which were by default. Indonesian AIP upedated data are not accessible for individuals, only for company as shown in the signin form. In numbers I got in 2018 95% of WAWT and 5% of WAFT. The reason why I chose WAWT. I did not invented it, as I pay attention to realism. Jeppesen information I used as a real PPL took generally several month sometimes more than a year to be confirmed in a new release. Under Navigraph you can observe the same phenomenon. I do not have a direct access to Indonesian AIP. I generally use it whenever it is possible.

Under X-Plane (or FS), there are numerous wrong ICAO codes, and it is a nightmare to change them as X-plane code which is the first database key is difficult to change. So thank you for your information I did not have (and still not have as I can't create access to Indonesian AIP web site).

Not trying to step on any toes, just curious where you found it and I know Indonesian ICAO codes are a mess as they went through and "realigned" ICAO codes a couple of times in the past few years. I fly around Indonesia a lot in the sim lately and the codes are giving me a headache, which is why I started going through and submitting reports or correcting where possible. WAAT just happened to be the first on my alphabetical list. FYI (if you're interested), the Indo AIP is not only for companies: I registered as an individual (just putting "Personal" in the company name and putting same address in company and PIC details), there is no requirement listed anywhere to state access is restricted to companies, they just assume you're with a company because private aviation is practically non-existent in RW Indonesia.

You said it, ICAO codes in this area are a nightmare. I build several scenery there because under X-Plane they were so badly represented. I'll try the "personal" account, as far as I need to upgrade some airport in this area.

If you see other ICAO or any issues on other airport in this area that I built under World Editor, do not hesitate : ddezulier@gmail.com

Based on your input, I'll be sure to check that Wikipedia sites are up to date for those airports that have different ICAO codes.
