Re-submit airport to Gateway with same airport ID, and updated ICAO meta data.

Just found this bug report. Have done WAHH from scratch. WARJ needs removing as it will conflict with WAHH and WARJ has runways located on top of each other and in line that are the same runway with different numbers 9/27 and 9L/27R. If not you will have a triplication of Rwy 9/27

Please re-submit your new layout using the Airport ID WARJ and ICAO Code meta tag set to WAHH.

The airport ID of WAHH was improperly assigned and will have to be deprecated immediately.

this same "renaming" issue will (i think) relate to all airports listed in xsg5107-5112 inclusive. I contacted Julian when I discovered this issue, retrospectively, and he has sorted this 1 airport.

WAHH deprecated. WARJ awaiting new submission on Gateway with ICAO set to WAHH.

Some confusion here, WARJ was deprecated on March 2015 and changed to WAHH.

new ICAO: WAHH

  • Julian Lockwood October 10, 2019 6:15 PM

Airport identifier-code changes are accomplished by re-submitting the airport to the Gateway. The primary (original) X-Plane Airport ID must remain the same, but the appropriate metadata (ICAO, FAA, IATA, etc.) should be inserted in WED, and the modified airport uploaded to the Gateway.

New ICAO code is WAHH, please change the x plane identifier to match the new ICAO. The FMC don't recognize WAHH as the x plane identifier of this airport still using WARJ, as a result, user can't load the SID, STAR, and IAP. Thanks in advance.

For new construction at a NEW location: Please file a new airport code request

For an EXISTING airport mis-located in X-Plane: Adjust the airport location and re-submit to the Gateway

For an EXISTING airport with a new identifier: Re-submit the airport to the Gateway. Place new identifier in the meta data-field ONLY (ICAO, FAA, IATA, etc.)

For an EXISTING airport with an incorrect identifier: Re-submit the airport to the Gateway. Place correct identifier in the meta data-field ONLY (ICAO, FAA, IATA, etc.)

For an EXISTING airport with a NEW name: Re-submit the airport to the Gateway with the name modified as required.
