Firstly, thanks for putting the time into this very much appreciated.
The Taxiway guides into the parking bays do not go straight in, they come in at an angle. I understood all aircraft are angle parked across the from of the terminal as they turn right under own power when departing (no pushback) with taxiways reflecting same.
The apron was heavily modified in the last few years to add extra stands and changed the arrangement of the cargo area. Compare the 2019 and 2021 imagery.
I stand corrected good sir. I flew out a couple of months ago and they still swing right out of one of the middle stands, can't work out why they did that with this new information.

I realized that TeamViewer somehow affects WED in this respect. Disabling TeamViewer solved my problem.
All parking is angled at terminal, no straight in parking as per scenery taxi markings
