Product= XPlane
Version= 10.51
OS= Windows
Summary= EGKR Airport at wrong ground elevation amsl
Description= Redhill Airport,UK (ICAO:EGKR) is at the wrong elevation above mean sea level and is showing up as sitting on a "table top" plateau - which it isn't in real life, when viewed from Gatwick Airport runway 08Right.
The correct elevation for EGKR is 222 feet amsl (data from the UK half millon scale sectional.)
Steps= Start x-plane 10,51 at London Gatwick R/W 08R, go into virtual cockpit view mode and look over the left wing and then forward towards the nose. You will see a raised plateau on the horizon.
Gatwick EGKK airfield elevation (where you are viewing from) is 198 feet amsl, and Redhill EGKR ia 222 feet amsl so it should not visible at all - pretty much on the same level amsl.
