- 83730 – Litjan 04/02/2021Major redo of this airport. Previous artist added many fantasy features. Removed all scenery outside airport fence, autogen will rebuild there when new (better) boundary takes effect. Please do not build airport unrealistically "nice".Approved Recommended
- 75813 – Julian 03/21/2020Terrain polygon(s) outside of airport boundary removed.Approved
- 75482 – WW3FlyingAce 03/05/2020Rainforest polys removed as requested. I come from a vast background in graphics, but how would I tell if the rainforests were low res...?Approved
- 74934 – WW3FlyingAce 02/17/2020Greetings Julian. Seems the offending “terrain” polygons (originating from library G10/Terrain10) were largely found in the adjacent golf course. I was going for little better realism distinguished from the airport grass... Still, I removed all the “terrain” polygons, and replaced with a forest grass, and then I entirely removed the overall “Golf Course Grass” layer I had there. Hopefully that makes better sense for the sim.See comments
- 74119 – WW3FlyingAce 01/09/2020Taxi/Rwy joins fixed, validation required Airport Boundary, then also few misc minor adjustments. Thanks for the tip.See comments
- 73468 – WW3FlyingAce 12/08/2019A thorough overhaul of my last version (Forum only); this time cleaned up for Gateway. This version there's slightly less artistic license, but bit more realistic, with updated and better techniques utilized for WED. Pls understand, at 91F there’s not much to see there, and I’m told it’s pretty run down after the local Indian gambling lost popularity some many years ago. All but abandoned and faded runway markings. However, since the sim automatically gives it a nice look with lush green grass and dense forest patches by default, I continued the liberty of jazzing it up a little with fleshed out aprons, parked planes, misc scenery objects, lighting for night ops and the nice golf club/course I created (now improved) remains (that’s not true to the sandy real-world, but lots more fun if you’re flying there). Nonetheless, this version is improved over previous Gateway versions, including my own previous version (which despite middle of nowhere, got over 150 downloads on the Forum). This build includes: proper Exclusion Zones (that also were posing obstacles on glideslope), improved ground texture selections, better tree population, still the corrected runway (for Displaced Threshold on 33); taxiways lines and some missing signage, separated north parking and removed that Ramp Start position (too unrealistic) with gated parking entry, overall fenced boundaries, improved lighting, and lots more little noodles.See comments
