The problem is quite simple, the auto generated airport is very, very wrong. "Just fix it yourself" you say? Well, I would be happy to, but it turns out the airport is so wrong that the underlying mesh is wrong, now I could go through all of the trouble to edit the mesh manually and have possible conflicts with other scenery but I feel that the more elegant solution would be to regen that single dsf tile with the corrected runways. I don't really know how hard this is for those of you at Laminar, but I hope that it's just a case of running a tool once with the new airport file installed.
I have attached a corrected 5D5 (which is not in any way a finished scenery package), but it's my first airport, so if my airport file is incorrect somehow, I would be happy to update it however you need. (Ignore the blend file--will be moved if I submit the airport for real)
I am continuing work on 5D5 and I should have an initial 3D version that I will upload to the gateway in the next ~three days. I hope having an official submission will make it easier on you guys.
Alright, the latest version I have uploaded is about as close as I'm going to come with default library assets. There are problems with it. It is difficult to create a grassy runway shoulder in WED. Taxiways don't really function for that purpose as they remove runway edge lights where they meet the runway. I also found no suitable asset in the default library for the main airport building. Still, the runways are correct now and the trees provide a reasonable representation of some of the obstacles one has to clear flying in and out of woolsey memorial. It is still necessary to flatten the airport. When the next version of WED has a stable release I will flatten the airport in that and resubmit. I will continue to look for solutions to my "shoulder" issue.
I am the airport manager for Woolsey Memorial Airport - 5D5, and also an X Plane user and a pilot. Let me know if I can assist you in any way, such as with photos of the stone building or access to the property. Keep up the good work; I'm loving it. Tom.
With the X-Plane 11 update, meshes generated with the updated field are correct, and this issue can be closed. That said, there are still nearby roads that autogen incorrectly (at the end of rwy 27). This is more of a consequence of design decisions than anything else, as such I think the LR team should know about it, but I do not expect a fix. Thanks!

I have been a little busy with work of late so I will be trying to finish 5D5 this weekend. (I imagine it wouldn't have made it into 10.50 anyway)
