Airport code changes no longer need to be submitted to have Laminar Research handle them. The airport metadata should be updated in WED, and the revised airport submitted to the Gateway.
So I can just change the "Airport ID"?
If the "Airport ID" does not already exist, shall I request it created the usual way before updating the scenery?
Just change the ICAO field in WED. Airport ID is the X-Plane specific identifier that needs to stay consistent forever, so that all changes to this airport stay associated with it.
For use on the Gateway the airport ID must stay EK46 forever.
