I downloaded this scenery pack and it does not have any added scenery. I have most libraries installed if needed. Can you tell me how to get the added Columbia Scenery to load up. Thank you tomsierrarr@msn.com

I just double checked that the download includes my updates. Here's what I did:

  • Selected 95316 on the gateway page (defaults to currently recommended scenery from 2022)
  • Downloaded and unzip'd the scenery pack
  • Verified right scenery pack by looking at the Readme.txt to verify that it was by "JimBim"
  • Moved scenery pack into the X-Plane 12 folder/Custom Scenery
  • Started x-plane 12 (requires restart if it was already running)
  • Saw the updates that I had made in the scenery. One noteworthy example: Runway 29 starts with asphalt and then transitions to grass after the runway numbers. A couple notes:
  • The scenery pack download did not include all of the information and resources stored when using the World Editor. When I pulled up this airport in WED, it doesn't render any of the new content. Perhaps this happens after it goes from accepted to approved?
  • You can double check that the Custom Scenery/scenery_packs.ini lists the added custom airport and that it shows up near the top. I believe that the order in the file determines which scenery is rendered if there is more than one library that includes it.
  • This is my first scenery, so it's entirely possible I did something wrong or don't understand the full process.

Just wanted to add the scenery pack looks like you done it before. I like the CDF they are the most important part of this airport.
