in reference to scenery pack

Started with the Gateway bot version (USER123) as a base.
Used government published AIP GPS position details to adjust the tower, beacon, the four PAPI positions (two each for 18 and 36), wind sock. Also, cross-referenced these with google earth orthos.
Also used orthos and AIP to position:
runway turnaround areas on both ends,
old, disused, runway turnarounds on both ends (marked with X),
windsock and its base,
radar installation east of the airport lagoon,
ramp flood lights,
fuel depo,
static aircraft (i had to cut back a lot from real life on these),
taxi lines and signs (these are accurate according to the AIP and orthos),
taxi shoulders (dirt) with shoulder markings,
lit and unlit taxiways based on published AIP,
runway hold short lines,
airport vehicle roadways west and east of the apron also follow the orthos.
Tried to match the numerous apron, taxi, runway shoulder and turnaround areas’ surface types with the reality of the airport surfaces (built up organically with various materials…)
In addition to all the static aircraft, there are taxi flows throughout. Fuel, cargo, crew and catering vehicle flows are present, along with parking, destination, etc. And airport flows and rules are implemented (for ATC AI), including a catchall.
There is no established helipad so i positioned heli ramp starts in the north apron.
The runway is notoriously rough. An Emirates flight damaged it gear on landing. Runway roughness is set to 1.0.
Unfortunately the runway markings are non-standard at VRMM and X-Plane cannot replicate them in the default WED options. The closest one is “Non-Precision (US)”. which was used.
Density setting was left at “Default” for everything for the time being.
And finally, if the airport seems haphazard and messy, thats intentional! The real thing is much worse...
The airport is currently expanding. Though the new runway is still closed (as far as I know) it already shows up on the satellite imagery. The apron was expanded as well.
Just landed to VRMM, did ILS X rwy 36. Night time. Started to observe why ILS final course is towards totally dark area without any rwy lights. Visible on left side there was something lit and wide enough to look like rwy, so disabled AP and made visual approach to there. After landing checked in-sim map, ILS course was aligned to something which looks in simulator minimap as taxiway, which didn't still have any even taxiway lights though. I thought I Vacated rwy via D4, then turned left and observed that taxiway C is missing the part between D4 and D5, only grass there. But no, I propably landed to taxiway and turned left to north apron, got confused of charts as there was no visual reference for east side. So final conclusion, rwy 18/36 is missing lights.
The last update was in July and the new runway is closed due to contruction works, accordingly to previous AIRAC only serves as paralell taxyway during day (no lights).
The new runway is now opened and scenery needs update but the gateway CIFP data needs also to be updated before that.
Okay so ILS course was towards correct (new, eastern one) runway but in scenery it's still in construction phase and without lights? I might have seen the asphalt of new rwy with landing lights if I decended further but didn't know this and didn't want to take a risk landing in unknown darkness. And I didn't simulate daylight to see how it is looking then.
That's correct, in the scenery pack 91709 the new runway don't have any lights, you have landing on old runway, currently is taxiway C.
With the new AIRAC ILS X and ILS W the course is towards the new runnway, with the old AIRAC the procedure was ILS Y and ILS Z towards the old runway.
Meanwhile had tried to update the scenery but is not accepted by gateway, the CIFP data of gateway reflects the old status.
We have to wait...
Today departed from VRMM and notice funny thing. When I was last time approaching VRMM, ILS guided me towards new (in scenery unfinished) runway... but now when departed from new scenery unfinished runway, PATLO1A departure was definitely aligned from old runway as first nav line was on left side all the time. So bit confusing instrument navigation data.
The new runnway is at service since September 2022, meanwhile XP12 is out and CIFP data is not updated, so the answer "that'll solve itself in a few months with the next update" is still valid?

Yes, with “few months” being a very lose term.
can somebody update it with new runway??
Seaplane terminal requires 'gates' for docks.
