These coordinates don't show any sort of airport or even dirt strip on @24.1964695,51.9956703,2210m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x0!8m2!3d24.186!4d51.996" class="external-link" rel="nofollow noreferrer">Google Maps. I didn't notice an obvious airfield anywhere on the island either.
Also, a request for future submissions--please use periods in the lat/long fields instead of commas. Maps doesn't recognize the commas so it saves me a little time if it's correct from the start.
Hey Jen, two things to add: Yes, it is in google maps, but only in a low zoom level, the high zoom level images seem rather old. Therefor please have a look at bing maps. It's there. gmaps: @24.1831991,52.0293753,72564m/data=!3m1!1e3" class="external-link" rel="nofollow noreferrer">https://www.google.ch/maps/@24.1831991,52.0293753,72564m/data=!3m1!1e3 (it's there.)
And, I use periods to enter the coords.. it's your page which deletes them. I know this also sounds funny, but I'll make a clip, so you can watch for yourself!
I try to add the clip to the files here
Re: the video
What in the world?? Sometimes your reports come in with periods as expected, sometimes with commas, but I rarely see them without either so that is particularly strange.
I wonder if it's an issue with the internet browser or even the keyboard, if it's not an English-language key arrangement. Can you give me any more details on your set up?
Hey Former user, can you take a look at the last few comments here? I tried test airport code requests with my Logitech keyboard with numpad on Chrome & Firefox for Mac and got the expected result--using the numpad period key for decimals worked for me. But luke173 has video proof that his experience is buggy.
Hrm, interesting. I'll look into it... but not this week, or probably next, unfortunately. (It's crunch time to get the redacted UI feature into a shipping state for 11.10.)
In the mean time, Jennifer, please forgive the poorly formatted text my form sends you.
