Hi, Thanks for adjusting the runway length of 16L and 16R. After downloaded and tried the approach, I found the PAPI placement is a little north than actual. Could you please check the position of PAPI lighting? Thank you.

Due to technical limitations, the location of the touchdown-zone markings on the runways are not always where they are in reality. The runway texture will be “stretched” to fit the exact runway length, that is why the markings can be offset. The location of the PAPIs is accurate (according to sat pictures) and if you move them to coincide with the markings in XPlane, they will not line up with the ILS anymore.

There should be a better technology in the next version of Xplane for this…for now we have to live with this.

OK, thanks a lot for improving RJTT. Really appreciated.

I have to backpedal a bit on my previous statement! You were right, I forgot to also move the PAPI for 16L - done that and uploaded.

While what I said previously (about the markings) is still true, it should be a lot closer (and coincide with the new displaced threshold much better) to the touchdown point.
