This happens because gateway uses the airport's original ICAO as its identifier (ID).
As the ID cannot be changed, when we change the ICAO code, the airport can be seen on the X-plane called by both the ICAO code and the ID.
I think the gateway/laminar airport identification system is very bad because, in Brazil, the ICAO is constantly changed.
And it becomes a mess, as the original ICAO is now used at another airport. But remains the ID of the first!

To make everything correct, you would have to delete the airport and then register another one with the new ICAO, in the same place.
All slow and in need of approval.
But I got scolded for trying to do this.
So I just gave up on continuing to maintain the small airfields, which constantly change ICAO.
