Yes there are "currently" trees on the Amazon Ramp. Because X-Plane 12 doesn't use exclusion zones anymore, once the airport is distributed within a official X-Plane update, the trees will not be there.
A temporary remedy for now would be to download KCVG into WED and add an exclusion zone to eliminate the trees.
I'm in work on a update to KCVG. I've added some new Amazon buildings that may be affected by this recut Do I need to un-do any airport boundary adjustment I've made?

I will watch this issue and close it when the new boundary has taken effect in a future scenery recut.

When you add new buildings, make sure that:
a.) you also extend the boundary to encompass the new buildings
b.) add an exclusion zone for now (if needed) to clear away any autogen trees or buildings (until your new boundary will do this in the future)
