This airport code is a default x-plane code for an existing heliport with an FAA code 84A. I've requested to add the new airport code so I can upload new scenery that I've created for the airport. Because the codes are different, my WED upload is being rejected. So I requested the new airport code to be added and for this airport code to be deleted. Then I can update the airport with my new created scenery.
Please file a New Airport Code request to upload your scenery to the Gateway. These requests are actioned every 7 days.
------------
Airport identifier-code changes are accomplished by re-submitting the airport to the Gateway. The primary (original) X-Plane Airport ID must remain the same, but the appropriate metadata (ICAO, FAA, IATA, etc.) should be inserted in WED, and the modified airport uploaded to the Gateway.
------------
Airport name changes are accomplished by re-submitting the airport to the Gateway. The primary (original) X-Plane Airport ID must remain the same, with the new name present.
