H3 reported issue XSG-4132: INCORRECT SCENERY in reference to scenery pack 43618 on December 6, 2017 1:03 PM
Closed

I downloaded this into XP11 just to see if it might correct a very big error, but since it's the same file, it didn't. The problem is that to the right of runway 24 you see a very long arched, brown railroad bridge. That bridge does NOT exist. On that side of the airport there is first a road, and then railroad tracks, but no bridge, so it looks really, really bad in this scenery.
Sorry, I tried to take a screen print shot, but for some reason in XP when I try to use Screen Print, it oddly just creates a shot of the Main screen (I'm new to XP, there may be a way around this...).
Anyway, I'm NOT complaining (how could I for this price...), just commenting. For me, since I use KFUL as a home airport, it would be nice if the problem could be corrected.

Thank you.

Within XP, use <CTRL>+<SPACE> to take a screenshot. I have seen this airport scenery and I too have wondered about that railroad bridge. Unfortunately, i don't believe that is part of the airport scenery package but rather the way the roadway and railway networks are done. Hopefully LR will be able to fix this as I have seen it in other locations as well.

The railroad bridge is probably a factor of the open street map data that is used to generate road and rail networks in X-Plane. The OSM is updated periodically.

Yup, this is the X-Plane default network drawing a rail bridge there instead of a ground level railroad track. The only way to fix it is completely remove the track and road. I'll do it.
