NC28 is NOT in the place where N36 is (Meadow Brook Field) - it is on the other side of the state and is actually called Meadstown Airstrip.

    Airport identifier-code changes are accomplished by re-submitting the airport to the Gateway. The primary (original) X-Plane Airport ID must remain the same, but the appropriate metadata (ICAO, FAA, IATA, etc.) should be inserted (or removed) in WED, and the modified airport uploaded to the Gateway.

    In this case, import NC28 from Gateway into WED. Inject identifier N63 into the appropriate meta field (FAA / IATA / other), and then re-submit NC28 to Gateway.

This is discussed on forum. If you create a new aiport in WED, call it NC28, When you import the data from gateway, it takes you to N63 which is not found in gateway. See attached, Fuuny thing in WED it even has the correct name just wrong place
