@bsupnik
Per Airnav, this airport has ATIS and AWOS on the same frequency but WED validation won't allow this. Is WED validation wrong or do packs only need one or the other type?

The real world data is probably correct here - most likely the frequency
is an ATIS when the tower is open (during the day) and AWOS at night
when the tower is closed.
But: it's possible that X-Plane can't handle this - I will check!

I think Tyler or Robin requested this validation.
IIRC it wasn't really about XP's ability to handle this AWOS vs ATIS or not, but about the lack of distinction between the two and lack of time dependency in XP right now.
So even if XP right now gracefully ignores the second specified identical service on that same frequency - why put it in ? It'll make adding such properties/distinction in the future much harder:
Right now you can not indicate the AWOS being actually an ATIS (the 'name' field is not standarized or utilized, only the 'Type' is, but its a fixed list). So you'll never be able to tell which of the two Type=AWOS entries is bogous and needs to be converted to an ATIS entry when such becomes available.
@tgreene Any more recollections ?

Updates to this airport were made in the interim - this report can be closed.
