This airport seems to already exist on the Gateway was CYVT Buffalo Narrows.

The artist FlynBrian has submitted two apparently identical airports to the Gateway. The original 98036 CYVT Buffalo Narrows was updated and approved August 2023.

The artist requested and was approved for a new airport identifier to submit this scenery package.

Why did the artist not simply updated the already existing scenery package? Why did a moderator approve a brand new airport ID for an already existing airport?

To be fair, CBN3 exists as a heliport.

I would suggest to the artist to submit JUST the heliport to the gateway instead of the entire airport.

Depreciation of XC00BM might not be helpful in this instance.

Hey Julian, unfortunately there's been some confusion which has led to XC00BM ([H] Buffalo Narrows (Fire Centre)) being deprecated. The Buffalo Narrows (Fire Centre) heliport still exists, and is separate to CYVT (Buffalo Narrows Airport).

FlynBrian's scenery for XC00BM would need to be removed from recommendation as well, since it conflicts with CYVT (https://gateway.x-plane.com/airports/CYVT/show).

    XC00BM is no longer deprecated. Cannot unrecommend XC00BM / submission 101475 because it is the only submission. Please submit a revised version if applicable.

Unfortunately, the scenery submitted to XC00BM is for CYVT (Buffalo Narrows Airport), not CBN3 ([H] Buffalo Narrows (Fire Centre)).

New scenery will need to be created and submitted, since submission 101475 (https://gateway.x-plane.com/airports/XC00BM/show) conflicts with submission 98036 on the gateway (https://gateway.x-plane.com/airports/CYVT/show).
